One of my favorite spots for sushi in LA hands down. It can be a bit pricey but you always get excellent quality fish, even if you order for delivery. They also have a great happy hour if you want to save some $$. Love sitting at the sushi bar to interact with the sushi chefs if you're dining solo or as a party of two (larger groups are harder to interact with if you're sitting in a row). Will definitely be a customer for a long time to come!
Me and my fiancé has been walking around the Japanese Village and trying to look for good sushi place and we spotted this Sushi Enya, they have a great selection of fishes and great service! Servers are all attentive and all nice. We will definitely come back once we are in Littke Tokyo!
Chef Kai was an amazing part of our experience at Sushi Enya. He thoroughly explained our dinner, each time our plate was served, and made spot-on recommendations! He observed our orders and began recommending more fattier/seared sushi options. The service with the staff was top-notch and attended to my boyfriend and me every couple of minutes without being overly intrusive. It was very cozy and warm inside and felt like I was eating at home with the pleasure of being served politely and respectfully.
This is a teeny tiny spot but good things come in small packages! We came in on a Thursday around 6:30 and got lucky without a reservation to be sat immediately. We got the crispy rice with spicy tuna. It was solid but not the best one I've ever had. I wish it had more eel sauce under it and I like it when it has jalapeño. The garlic edamame was PERFECTION. It was salty, garlicky & came out super hot. Our favorite was the lemon roll! Those thin slices of lemon atop the sushi brings an amazing freshness to the roll. The W. Dragon was our second favorite! It had all the right combinations of flavors. The service was nothing but amazing. There were always right there topping us off with water and/or tea. The only downside I'd say was the pricing. Each roll was $22. It was very much LA pricing. I'd definitely come back here if I was in the area!
After strolling around little tokyo for a few hours we decided to stop by for some sushi and Enta was close by. Overall pretty decent experience. Came on a weekday night and the place was pretty full but there were lots of seats. I got the crunchy dragon roll and the Japanese waygu. The rolls come in huge portions, and it was pretty flavorful and had a good texture from the tempura flakes on top. The waygu was soft and had a mild taste of truffle but surprisingly expensive for what it was. Food: 7.9/10 Service: 8/10 (took a bit to order we had to call them back down after waiting for a while) Ambience: 7/10
